Yippee Volunteers!

Bouquet of tulips
We’re in the final days of our Spring Marathon, and we’re still $20,000 short of $50,000 goal. These are difficult times, and the world feels uncertain right now — I understand that.

That’s why we’re asking our listeners to help. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps sustain this work and keep CFRO strong.

We’re also fortunate that an amazing donor has offered to match donations up to $20,000, so this is a wonderful time to give if you’re able. We truly do need your support.

And one more thing: you’re invited to our Birthday Party on May 9. Your favourite programmers, board members, and volunteers will all be there, so please save the date — I hope to see you there!

If you are in a position to contribute, please donate today.

We are deeply grateful for the volunteer hours contributed by our programmers, staff, and board members. We would not be here without you.

With hope for what’s ahead,

Gwendolyn

What’s On the Air at Co-op Radio?

There’s always something new to discover on the dial. Check out featured programming that captures the spirit of Co-op Radio:

Celebrating 10 Years of the Wetland Project

Co-op Radio was the first to broadcast the Wetland Project’s “slow radio” event, and we’re so proud to still be part of it ten years later.

This year marks the 10th anniversary of the 24-hour broadcast, airing on International Earth Day, Wednesday, April 22. Over the last decade, the Wetland Project has grown into a beloved Earth Day tradition, now heard on 57 radio stations and streamed in more than 50 countries around the world.

We hope you’ll join us in celebrating this beautiful collaboration between art, sound, and the natural world—an immersive listening experience that offers a chance to pause, reflect, and reconnect with the rhythms of the environment.
