Started in 2001, Better Days is a vibrant mix of authentic folk and roots music, both current and traditional, from around the corner and around the world. Started in 2020, Riverside Drive is a country music show, its name springing from the street in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, that Doug grew up on, a street that’s no longer there. Join Doug Lang and friends on Facebook every Saturday morning 7 am to 9 am during the Better Days broadcast, and every Wednesday from 12 pm to 1 pm for Riverside Drive.

Talking Aging is a public affairs show that discusses issues affecting older adults and future older adults aka all of us. The show works to fight ageism and speak to the experts on topics of interest. Hosted by Meeka Marsolais. New episode the 1st Saturday of every month.  

Make A Better World is connecting community activity to community radio, creating space for organizations and community members to express and further their work. We invite community groups and individuals to our studios and “make radio” around what they do in the community. We are committed to supporting the local communities and organizations who are doing tremendous work to bring people together and create change. The conversation lab is about building bridges into our community and learning from each other. This project intersects with my PhD program with the Social Justice Institute at UBC.  Giving community groups, not for profit organizations, and changemakers a voice to talk about those things that are most important to them. I want to research and study the science, psychology, cultural, and emotional components of conversation, and what they have in common to gain insight and improve on existing knowledge of how we engage with each other whether about climate, race, gender, culture, politics, or social justice issues.  I believe this work can contribute to positive social change. The Conversation Lab is produced by CFRO FM (Co-op Radio) in Vancouver's downtown east side on the unceded territories of the xʷməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), and sel̓íl̓witulh (Tsleil-waututh) Nations.

Talkin' Trash is a monthly radio show that looks at our garbage, waste, and everything related. The show is started by the facilitators and graduates of the Master Recycler Vancouver program, and dedicated volunteers of the Society Promoting Environmental Conservation (SPEC). Redeye is produced by an independent media collective at the studios of Coop Radio in Vancouver's Downtown Eastside.  The show has been on the air for over 45 years, providing high-quality public affairs and arts programming to listeners looking for a progressive take on current events. While the show no longer features interviews or news segments, it continues to offer expertly curated music that highlights the diverse sounds of Latin America, with a focus on political and cultural themes. The program provides a musical journey through the heart of Latin American life, connecting listeners with both contemporary and traditional rhythms that tell the stories of a region rich in heritage and activism.

Unsigned BC is a weekly program that plays 100% locally created music.  From Classical to hip hop and country, if it’s made in BC you can find it on our show. Each episode consists of song reviews or a discussion on social issues using music to address the topic. The show regularly features experts as guest hosts, from academics to politicians and advocates.
